The first batch of BITS Pilani Strides Arcolab Bangalore collaboration which started in 2004 resulted in 27 employees successfully completing the same and the second batch which started in 2005 resulted in 24 employees successfully completing the same.
On 12th January 2008, the graduation function of the second batch of this collaborative program took place at the Walton Hall of Bangalore's finest corporate hotel the Chancery. The dignitaries who attended the function from Stides included senior executives, graduating students and their families, faculty members who had taught the various courses in the curriculum and Mr sanjay Singh Coordinator for BITS Pilani Bangalore off campus centre.
Vice President HR of Strides Mr K Raghavendra welcomed the gathering and emphasized on the role of HR in achieving corporate excellence. Mr. Arun Kumar Managing Director & CEO of Strides congratulated the successful candidates and urged them to put to use the knowledge acquired for the benefit of society at large.
Prof BR Natarajan, Dean Work Integrated Learning Programmes BITS Pilani in his address also read out the congratulatory message from Prof L K Maheshwari, Vice Chancellor BITS Pilani after which the successful candidates received their final degree certificates and top ranking three students their special awards.
